Doolin village which is famous for its traditional Irish music and amazing restaurants and ‘ Creamy pints of Guinness’ is just 2.5 miles from the cottage and Lisdoonvarna village famous for it’s Sulphur Baths and water and not forgetting the Match Making Festival (running for the month of September) is only 3.5 miles the opposite direction.

The Cottage is situated behind Ballinalacken Castle on the coast road from Doolin or Lisdoonvarna to Fanore and Ballyvaughan. It is about 2.5 miles from Doolin and 3.5 miles from Lisdoonvarna.
The cottage is on the verge of the Burren walking routes “Green Road” which are suitable for hikers and walkers alike, for all to experience the amazing scenery of the Burren and Ocean.
Blue Flag beaches, such as Fanore and Lahinch are all within a 10 minute drive and there is also an abundance of attractions to see such as The Cliffs of Moher, Ferry to Aran Islands, Horse Riding Centre and Doolin Cave. Not forgetting day trips to the Ring of Kerry, Connemara and the Rock of Cashel.
